I just bought a samsun 40 inch tv and I wanted to watch cd movies but I can't find dvd player, I thought all tv had them now, how can I watch cd movies, do I have to get a dvd player to hook up to the tv?

No,tv internal DVD player are not on sale by itself as a seperate unit,only can buy it from the tv corporations themselves and it not cheap and have to have experience to putting it in into the tv internal tv itself.The tv internal DVD player now,could be the laser eye data reader have problems reading mp3 and mp4 files on the DVD disc,which are video files.Now tries to play more than one DVD movies dic,tries like to play like 5 to 6 original DVD movies.One disc don't play tries another DVD disc.Tries this might forcing the laser eye reader to read DVD dics again and than might fix it to read video files again.Or just buy an external DVD player hook it up to the tv and play DVD disc on to the tv video modes.DVD players external devices are really cheap these day,like can buy new one for $40.

hi,i have just bought the ue40c5100 led tv and i have returned it twice and am now on my third one the problem is when i watch a bluray movie if the movie is wide screen like most movies are u will see a slight glow of light from the top left corner,the two previous tv's i have had done it in every corner but this only does it at the top left,thankyou for your time hope u can help me.

U can't not stop profanity,if u watch NC17,PG13 or Rated R DVD movies.Captioning CC1,2,3 dosen't effect the DVD movie.It only have captioning on the tv that in tv brocasting shows,not in the DVD movie.If u want no profanity in movies watch PG movies.

That I don't think you can do - the CC is fed by the digital tuner, while the subtitles are fed by the DVD player.

It sounds like you may not be on the correct input selection on the tv to watch the dvd player. Ther are probably three or four inputs to choose from on your tv. whichever input you hooked the dvd player into on the tv is the same imput you have select using the tv's remote control in order to watch movies on the dvd player.

i bought a lens cleaner disc, and i took it in for repair at a local place. some plastic part had warped from the heat of the machine. part replacement and cleaning for, i don't remember what. $30 or $40. turn it off when you're not using it. use a second machine for playing and save this one for recording.

though its on the expensive side it has Divx compatibilty as its needed for downloaded movies and the screen is pretty decent..it has TV connectivity too

Jo have you plugged in the Audio and Video cable in correctly. You need to check that the Video cable is in the corresponding input on the TV

The dvd player is at fault. Time to go shopping since repair not cost effective.
