I face a paper jam a lot, what is the right steps to release it? I keep getting a paper jam message. I have opened up the case and inspected; removed the cartridge and inspected; no paper/paper jam found. I reinstalled the cartridge, closed case and reattempted printing. I still get the paper jam message.

Hi vidya kowlessur,

I would be happy to help you with your Officejet 7500A printer. I understand you are seeing a message prompting you to clear a paper jam, and the carriage is likely jammed. Please use the following 2 documents to troubleshoot the issue;

HP Officejet 7500A E910a and E910c Wide Format All in One Printers Out of...

Carriage Jam or 0X610000F6 Message Displays for HP Officejet 7500A E910a...

I hope this helps, but if the issue persists, what you can do, is use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:

Step 1. Open link: h22207 www2 hp com
Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click on: HP contact options - click on Get phone number

Case number and phone number appear.

Best of luck.
I work on behalf of HP.

I HAVE A PIECE OF PHOTO PAPER STUCK AND IT WON'T MOVE WHAT CAN I DO

Step 1
Turn the printer off and on to see if it can automatically clear some or all of the jam. Many printers provide an error-code listing on the front panel display for the area where the jam occurred. If your printer shows an error code, be sure and check the printer manual to see if that identifies the area of the printer where the jam occurred.
Step 2
Turn off the printer.
Step 3
Remove any paper trays. Inspect them for wrinkled or damaged paper.
Step 4
Open any other doors that give access to the printer's paper path and to the toner or ink cartridge.
Step 5
If necessary, remove the toner or ink cartridge. Place it in a bag or away from light to avoid damaging it.
Step 6
If you find a piece of jammed paper, remove it by holding it with both hands and pulling firmly. The goal is to keep the paper from tearing. If several pieces are jammed together, try pulling out the middle piece first to loosen the jam.
Step 7
If the paper does tear, try rotating the roller gears manually to free the paper. Don't force anything, though.
Step 8
Replace the toner or ink cartridge and paper trays, close any doors you opened and turn the printer back on.
Step 9
If the printer paper jam message still appears, then there is still some paper in the printer. Inspect the paper path once again.

I keep getting paper jam messages when there is no paper jam.

Hi,
Remove the jammed paper. Unplug the printer from the mains and PC. Inspect the rollers, etc for tiny paper piece(s) that may be stuck, or other debris. Try to clean rollers and make sure they are dry.
Keep printer unplugged for about 2 minutes and replug and try a test print.
Also make sure that you have waited long enough for the printer to heat up before giving a print job.
Finally, it could be an issue with the paper sensor. If this is the case, you will probably have to take the printer in for servicing..

Paper jam message on HP C4599 when there is no jam

I had the same problem. I called HP and went through the steps they had asked me to go through to fix it. It took about an hour. Nothing worked. They offered me a replacement. I said no, and they offered me a $150 gift card for Staples.
