The VGPWKB1 is compatible with VAIO notebooks and desktops that come with pre-loaded Microsoft Windows XP operating system excluding PCV-LX series desktop. Hence, the VGCV517G desktop is compatible with the keyboard.

If you are using the optional Sony Wireless Keyboard Kit model VGP-WKB1, the switch to turn on the keyboard is located on the front left side of the keyboard.

Follow the direct link to turn ON the Wireless keyboards:

Hi,
Did you or anyone else spilled anything on them? Do you have a pet that may stepped on your keyboard?
What you can do is to take out on of the problematic keys. Disconnect from power and use a small ruler to pop the key out. See if anything is under there. Maybe hair or food. Do not shake your laptop as this can lead to other problems. Get a dry cloth and clean the key base and underneath the key. Reinsert the key and try it again. If this works do the same for the other keys.
