That tuner has a built in microphone to listen for your guitars sound. Turn it on and set is close to your guitar as you tune it.

SOURCE: Hi, i have a acoustic guitar and i am trying to

Hi
Simply turn the tuner on using the power button. Play an open string note close to the tuner (no more than about 1/2 metre away) - for instance the low E on string 6.
The built in microphone will pick up the sound and, if your guitar is reasonably close to being in tune the led light labelled 'E' will illuminate on the lower scale on the tuner along with one of the three other leds to indicate whether the note is flat (b), in tune (green) or sharp (#).
Due to harmonics any or all of these three leds may flash but it is the one that is on the most that matters.
Adjust the tuning peg until the green is on constantly when you play the string.
Move on to the next string
Note - if the string is more than a semitone sharp or flat a different light may flash (e.g if the low E string is 3/4 of a tone flat the D light will come on).
If you wish to tune your guitar to another instrument that is not at perfect pitch (and perhaps cannot be easily adjusted - like a pipe organ) you can use the calibrate button to adjust the setting of the tuner. This temporary recalibration will be lost when the tuner is turned off.

Matrix auto chromatic tuner manual

I'm sorry, but without knowing the specific model of your Matrix Auto Chromatic Tuner, it's difficult for me to provide you with an exact manual. However, I can provide you with some general tips on how to locate a manual for your tuner:
  1. Check the manufacturer's website: The first place to look for a manual is the manufacturer's website. Most manufacturers provide manuals for their products on their website, and you can usually search for the manual by entering the model number of your tuner.
  2. Search online: You can also try searching for the manual online using search engines like Google or Bing. Enter the model number of your Matrix Auto Chromatic Tuner along with the term "manual," and you may find a PDF version of the manual available for download.
  3. Contact the manufacturer: If you're having trouble finding a manual for your tuner, you can contact the manufacturer directly. They may be able to provide you with a copy of the manual or direct you to a source where you can obtain one.
  4. Consult with a music equipment dealer or technician: If you're still unable to find a manual for your Matrix Auto Chromatic Tuner, you can consult with a music equipment dealer or technician. They may have access to the manual or be able to assist you in operating the tuner without the manual.
I hope these tips are helpful in your search for a manual for your Matrix Auto Chromatic Tuner.

Written directions for using a Matrix quartz guitar tuner SR 1000

To be honest, I don't use such a tuner. I have downloaded an app which helps me to tune my guitar. By the way, I have electric 8 string guitar and it is far more difficult to tune and to play. Nevertheless, the sound is just incredible and I love it so much.

Don't know how to turn on tuner

put a battery in your guitar. It goes in the space at the bottom, usually where you connect your cable to your amp.
Then hold the guitar as you usually would.
Look for a little board with buttons on the side of the guitar to turn on the tuner: )

Just use WYE connectors and run each guitar to their destination without using the bypass output of the tuner at all... Each guitar into a WYE into the tuner and then continue to the amp and DI box.

Brand new chromatic tuner tu-3 pedal, plugged guitar into input and it powers on. Guitar plays through the amp, but when I hit the footswitch the check light and tuning bar do not light up.

Change the battery first. It could be dying and just barely have enough power to come on at first, but not to do anything else. If that doesn't solve it, you've got a defective one and you can go exchange it.

The only way i can tune is if i have absolute silence in my practice area. if the bass, drums or lead guitar player are just playing barely it throws the tuner completely off. is this a common problem or...

Common problem... your strings wil be excited by the surrounding noise... If you cut the gain down on your guitar to a minimum needed for the tuner to see it, that should help. If you have an acoustic guitar, the pickups in those are really sensitive to local noise and you may not be able to tune if there is much going on.
