I have purchased the lenova laptop in which th Hard Disk is from Hitachi and my data is in the Hard Disk how can i get back my data

Maybe if you can format the disk-but you loose data, maybe there is a program that can do it, probably in linux, or bootable itself, maybe ask acer for master password or something, if you still own original laptop and it runs then try to remove disk encryption while the hdd is accessible with laptop (i think its in bios), otherwise the hdd may be unusable to prevent data theft. you can plug any sata hdd into any sata device if you can hook all the cables, no compatibility issues there. try googling and youtubing for more answers

Hard Disk about to fail This warning means the hard disk will fail sometime in the near future. You need to back up your data regularly before the hard disk fails or you will lose your data.

You cannot take a hard drive out of your faulty HP laptop and insert it into any laptop and expect it to run/boot up. When Windows is installed on a laptop, it is configured with device drivers for that particular laptop and it wont work in another laptop with different devices.
Replace the Dell's hard drive back into its laptop and the Dell should function normally.
To recover data off the SATA Hitachi hard drive, connect this hard drive into an USB hard drive adapter and then plug this adapter with the Hitachi hard drive into the USB port of your Dell. You should take the computer to a computer repair shop and they might be able to backup any important data from it if you have not backed up. If you have backed up then you may want to purchase a new hard drive, again your local computer repair shop can help you with this and replace your old drive and reinstall your operating system and then your backup data(if applicable).

I would suggest doing the following:

1. Remove the hard disk (Turn off computer first)
2. Back up the hard disk using a hard disk back up device such as the one sold here
3. Purchase a new IBM hard disk and copy the data from the old one onto the new one
4. Insert new one into laptop and turn on laptop
5. Done!

Your drive is failing and you should back up any important data you need onto CD/DVD or an external USB device (hard drive/pen drive). The drive may keep working for a while but your system is warning you that it has detected a critical error with the drive and failure is imminent.

Yes it is possible to data recover from this hard disk to using "active partetion recover v2.0 or above" software. This software should be registered and also bootable disk. It will be possible to data recover, if it will be detect in dos mode.

Procedure:
Insert the bootable disk into CD-Rom and choose boot from the cd rom and now check your disk is detected or not, if detected follow the instruction and your all data could be recover with your complete partions.

Well do you have the receipt of the Hard Drive? and does it cover the warranty period? if it does, go send the device back to the store where you've purchased it and have a replacement or refund.

If the hard disk has failed, and you want the data off of the hard disk, you have two choices..

Purchase a extender to allow you to read the hard disk and also purchase a data recovery program to get the data off the hard disk...

Or google data recovery service and find one that can retrieve data of of bad hard drives..

Either way afterward you will need to purchase a new hard drive.. They have drives as low as 30 dollars online that can be purchased and then installed.

You will need to reinstall windows on the new hard drive you get..

Ultimately you will have to weigh the cost of repairing the computer ( purchasing a hardrive and purchasing a new copy of windows)

Versus purchasing a new computer.
