I have my e71 phone and when someone texted me, only the number shows not the name of the sender. what should i do?

see the memory first, you might duplicate the names and number, delete those number with have a duplicate, that is the reason why it is only the number but not the name will show up

It is possible that you have not saved the number in the name of person whom you are sending message, or you might have saved that number twice in your cell phone, i.e. either in sim card or in mobile phone or both.

There is another way to check this. Try dialing the same number, if it shows the name of the person whom you have saved then its fine. If it shows the number only, then it indicates that you have have his number saved twice.

Try, you will get through this.

hello friend , maybe your some one deleted your text sender number on your mobile
do one thing , u call your network provider call center they will give u number and where to put that number simple

this is because you have a duplicate contact name in your phone book.. if you have different contact name in your phone book with same number.. only the number will show up...
