My tocco ultra edition phone has got no sound. people can hear me talking but i cant hear them, music, alarm or keypad. everything else is working fine. thanks

hi, as far as my experience unlock codes are the best method to unlock your phone, i used codes from http://www.mobile-unlocker.com/samsung-tocco/rs2wp9/ you can unlock my phone and it worked well,you need to specify the country and network provider

can u hear lil sound when u close the speaker with ur ear?

I think the problem you are experiencing has to do with the earpiece of your phone.All you need to do is to get to a phone store and replace the earpiece so that your phone can work perfectly again.

The problem with your phone is that the earpiece of your phone is bad, that is why you cannot hear anything while you call or if you are called.

All you need to do is to change the earpiece of your phone and you will see that after changing it, you can hear when people call or when you are called.

Replace the earpiece as said and you will see that your communication with other people on the phone will move smoothly.

you may need firmware update . It was known issue on Orange network in UK.

Go to settings,
select phone settings,
volume key function,
select silence
then save

Now you can turn the volume of your keys up and down with the button on the side of your phone

I had the same problem so called Samsung UK. Take following action: Choose - Phone Profiles/Normal/red chevrons/top right drop down menu/choose phone sounds/scroll to bottom phone sound volume, put to zero and press save. It works! Hope this helps. Julie J

Should be something like

Menu > Settings > Phone Profiles > (Select Your Profile) Edit > Key Tone > Silent

Will be something similar to that... Im going by the Samsung Tocco though, may be slightly different but should still be possible :)

easiest way to solve this problem. go to call settings and TTY mode. and switch it to TTY + talk ... if that doesnt work then fiddle around with the other TTY settings untill it does. this disables the earpiece
