My Nokia 2310 suddenly switched off. It didnt switch on again. I tried putting the battery(of problem phone) into another cellphone, the battery works fine. I tried to charge the problem phone, but is not showing any activity upon inserting the charger jack. Other phones are getting charged using the same charger. Any idea of what the problem could be?

My Nokia 2310 switched off and has failed to come on again. It is not a battery problem, so I'm stuck.

you have a simple problem.. and you can diagnose the problem easily by connecting the said cellphone to a charger and try any one to call that cellphone.. if the cellphone stays On in more than 3 rings then you need to change the battery pack..

You should have turned it off immediately then removed the battery and put it in a dry warm place to dry out completely.
It looks like the cell phone is damaged and it may not be repairable. You could try a cell phone repairer, I suggest you get a quote as it may not be worth repairing.

pl.remove the battery for a minute and then again put it back and power on. it should start as normal. you will need to adjust date and time.

My Nokia 2310 will not power on.

Take out your battery. Let it sit for thirty seconds to a minute and then replace the battery. Sometimes all of the juice gets used, even when it is fully charged. If that does not work, you may need to take it back to your carrier and have it looked at professionally.

for the cellphone automatically switched off the problem is the switch,if there is one who look anf fixed that cellphone but he did not fixed try to consult to another cellphone technician maybe it will fixed.
