This sounds the thermal reset is tripped have you looked for a red reset button on the mixer? that is usually what fixes that

why are you over loading the machine against the user manual advice
contact hobart for spares or advice on the problem

Kitchen Aid Mixer won't start - grease leaked out from ring

The leaking grease has very little to do with it not going, remove the chrome drip ring (yes it's called a drip ring, it is used to catch most of the drips) and clean it out & wipe around the planetary. The oil is separating out of the food grade grease due to age or lack of use or both. Remove & check the carbon brushes under the side caps on the motor. They are keyed so will only work when installed the correct way. You may find the brushes worn out and in need of replacement. Observe which way they come out, one corner is ground off and that is the key. If that is not the problem then you will need to look under the back cover, sometimes there can be a broken or loose wire there.

Did you play with the Brushes??? If you did you have to make sure that they went back in the correct way or they won't be touching the armature and the mixer will not operate untill the brushes touch the armature. If you did nit take the brushes out at all. then your problem is the flag connectors are not in the correct terminals.

the other problem is the possibility that when you re-installed the speed board that you now have to tune the mixer by adjusting the screws on the top of the speed board.

Mixer quit working

Quite likely you overloaded the capacity of the motor and it simply overheated. The brushes inside the motor may be burned out/corroded. I suggest putting a light load on it and seeing how it performs. Often, when this kind of thing occurs, a bit of light duty use will get the motor back into good working order. But be careful to not over-tax the unit again. There are several different KitchenAid mixers on the market, some nothing more than ornamental, all the way up to commercial-grade.

Disassembly and inspection is the only way to verify what it is. It sounds like you are correct. I have bought parts very reasonably on line and repaired our K/A mixer. The better sites ( I think I used appliancerepair.com) have exploded diagrams. If you are tearing into yours, these are invaluable, and when you get to the broken part, you'll have a name for it.

Kitchen aid stand mixer bought in US, moving to Europe, 220v 50hz

I can not respond to the warranty issues. My kitchen aid mixer is past warranty as well. I live in a country that uses 220V and my kitchen aid mixer is 110V. I have been using my kitchen aid mixer for almost 4 years with no problems at all.

The converter boxes are supposed to blow the fuse on the converter before it reaches your appliance and cause any problems.

If you purchase a 220V kitchen aid (although it would cost more money) it would probably have more power because of the higher voltage.

yes , just use a voltage step down transformer ( voltage converter) 200W

A200 problem

Check the planetary.this is the bottom part of the mixer where you attach the hook.
You will see two nuts; make sure their tight as the planetary may have moved down.
