This usually indicates a problem with a driver. When you say it is ok at first does it actually load in to Windows and then randomly blue screen to this error? If this is the case then there should be an "error code" that looks something like "000000000x##) where the ## is there should be a letter and a number(i.e. 1e) depending on what that number is will help determine which driver is the issue. Once we've determined the driver in question it should be a matter of reinstalling the driver in question and see if this resolves this issue.
Though the computer is a little long in the tooth and if the hardware is failing it may be more cost effective to recycle your computer and purchase a new one.

Hello you can download the driver here:

http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=P5GL-MX&p=1&s=22

By selecting windows xp, and open the Audio folder, and click global for download.

The audio file needs to be unziped, before you install the driver.

Reboot after the install is done.
Update the other drivers, if any missing.

The audio file is newer present, in the xp installation file.

No problem due toupgradation to window7 I am

ok office 2003 is compatable with 7 so we are ok there, but your not telling me is did you upgrade from xp 32/64 bit and is this windows 32/64 bit. are you just trying to install the default folder to a differant location?
try copying the contents of the cd to your drive and install that way. do a system file checker also to make sure no corrupt or missing windows 7 files are causing the issue.

as a back up try this site
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936212

it may say vista it works for windows 7

let me know ok

When I turn on my computer it begins the boot then goes black

Try booting into safe mode. That will disable all drivers and use generic windows drivers to send commands to the devices. If that still doesnt work, id say that there is a problem with your OS installation. Backup your files using an external harddrive enclosure and reinstall the OS.

Win 32 application

You didnt specify the version of Windows your using however,
This issue is commonly caused by corrupt bad, or missing files, The program is not compatible with your version of Windows, or your hardware is incompatible. You must meet or exceed all system requirements for the program. If you downloaded the program from the internet verify the download was not corrupt. If installed from the cd-rom, check the disc is clean and free of scratches and reinstall. Replace missing windows files using SFC.

Have your Windows Cd available.
Open Run-->Type SFC /SCANNOW
This command will run the windows file protection utility that will replace missing or corrupt windows files.

Ntldr is missing, this information is regularly coming even though I am trying to format my laptop acer 4715z with cd also when once it was it catched booting and started the process of formating after...

1. You must have a copy of "ntldrusb.zip" file.
USB: Right click the ntldrusb.zip file and choose "Extract All" Next>Next>FinishThen Insert your USB Stick into the working computer (remove any other USB sticks, and be sure there isn't anything on the USB stick that you want since we are about to erase it);
Double-click HPUSBFW.EXE in the ntldrusb folder;
Check "Create a DOS startup disk" and "using DOS system files located at" then press the grey button with the "...";
A box will come up asking you which folder to select, point it to the "dos system files" folder;
Press OK; Press Start; Press Yes; Let it run for just a few minutes till a new box comes up; Press OK; Press Close;
Open the "putonusb" folder, copy all the files, paste them onto the usb stick (just in the root of the drive, like E:\);
Eject the USB Stick; Remove it from your computer;
Place it into the computer with the "NTLDR is missing" issue, reboot it.
You will see the Windows 98 screen pop up for a second, then you will see a black screen with white letters prompting you to "replace boot sector of the drive C: (y/n)", press the y key;
It will go to a C:\ prompt, reboot the computer by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del; (now go to step 4)

4. Put the new floppy/cd-r/usb you have just created into the computer that gets the NTLDR is missing error message, turn the broken computer off.

USB: Right click the ntldrusb.zip file and choose "Extract All" Next>Next>Finish
Then Insert your USB Stick into the working computer (remove any other USB sticks, and be sure there isn't anything on the USB stick that you want since we are about to erase it);

f you get back into Windows again, you can change that "1st Try This" menu by going into Start > Control Panel > PerformanceAndMaintenance/System > Advanced tab > Startup and Recovery section, Settings button > System Startup; then change the "Default Operating System:" to the selection that worked for you, and change the box that says "Time to display list of operating systems" to however many seconds you want (usually 1 second). Click OK twice.

Windows 32 file is missing

The easiest way in the long term is to.
Boot from Windows CD and after all files are loaded. Windows will ask you what you want to do. Install, Repair etc. Choose repair and follow instruction from there Windows will remove some files and reinstall in repair mode. You will not lose any files, during this process.
The reason I choose this method is because you can spend some hours trying to fix not starting problems and not succeed while a reboot in repair mode takes ¾ of an hour plus time to load drivers
