If you lose you keys, you will need to order duplicate keys from the manufacturer. They will need the serial number and model number of your safe and proof of purchase. After establishing the authenticity of the buyer, they will supply fresh keys at a nominal charge. The duplicate keys are specially ordered from the factory and takes 2-4 weeks for delivery.
However, for security reasons, if you lose your keys, we recommend to change the lock of the safe instead of supplying duplicate keys.
If the above is too much hassle, get a safety pin/hair pin/piece of metal long enough to fit in the key lock.
The lock (under plastic panel) opens by turning anit-clockwise. Apply some pressure to turn it anti-clockwise until it won't turn more, keep light pressure and drag the safety pin etc against the pins inside the lock from back to front over and over (took me about 30 secs to 1 min) until you feel the lock turning more. You're in!
The lock on the safe is very easy to pick as it's cheaply made...you would have much greater difficulty with proper door locks etc but since this is just a safe no problem!
I have lost my safe keys too but locksmiths are saying that they cannot open the lock because the sfae has an electronic panel too. Do you possible know a contact number for micromark? Everyone I try is incorrect for some reason! x
