Hi Colleen When you say transfer calls to ther numbers do you mean to transfer one external number to another external number or numbers within the office? Let me know will explain.
The KX-T7630 is a proprietary digital phone that will only work on panasonic phone systems. You need an analog phone if you are going to connect it directly to an outside telephone line.
If you've set call forwarding from the set, try dialin *713 and a 2 digit number from 00-99. It's the number of seconds before the call forward and a ring cycle is approximately 6 seconds, so start with 24 and go up from there.
There's another feature that will work against you, and that's the transfer recall time. It may be set to 20 seconds, so you will never forward before the recall timer. It's set on a systemwide basis.
I can, but I'm not sure you can. On this side of the pond, we can send an inward CO call to an ICD group which has a forwarded number programmed into it. For example we usually take the owner's station and add 400 to it so his extension may be 110 and 510 is his cell phone. That way, it can be dialed from an intercom, as a transfer, from voice mail, or as a call forward argument.
Ring your engineer if you're not familiar with ICD groups and Panasonic programming. They should be able to guide you and tell you whether it can be done, especially if you have ISDN trunks.
The quickest way is to set up an ICD group with forwarding to an outside line and the number. We set it up by taking an unused number, usually the same last 2 digits as the extension, ie x104 is the guy's main number and 404 is his cell, then anyone can dial 404 or transfer a call to 404 to reach the cell.
Your problem is that your installer or dealer will need to set it up if you don't have access to the maintenance console. That, or you're a better (wo)man than I. It's done in the 600's of system programming and the *714 code from the intercom.
In this poor man's version, transfers are absolute, so the mobile number will have to process the call by having voice mail.
and what should i do to cancel the forwarding??
how do i transfer to the answer phone
