You might have a corrupt file and have to turn the system on via safe mode. Easy instructions can be found at either PSN or youtube.

try system restore first to earlier date programs->acesories->system tools->system restore choose a date 1 r 2 months before.. the dates wich system can be restored will be in bold.. restore it..
if system cant be restored to previous date
insert windows xp cd.. restart ur system.. boot from cd by presisng any key.. (if pressing key doesnt boot to cd..press f11 or f12 at the time system restarts and go on to boot menu and select cd drive)
nd after u get booted to cd after the os loads file. u vl get option repair the current partiotion.. repeair it .. ur files vl not be lost

Your tv screen has problems with the video mode
that has setted up on your ps3, hold the power button till hear two beeps, this will reset the video mode of the ps3, and leavse you at a screen to set up the video mode of the ps3.
