I have a alpine cda 9815 cd player. it has an auxillary input, am i able to add a usb port connector to it? Or what parts should i add so i can play music through usb flashdisk. thanks

There is no option to add a USB port on this model. An alternative to use a usb flash drive is to use a MP3 with the auxillary input. Cheap MP3 with works fine too.

    thank you.. you mean i could connect MP3 player from earphone jack output to AUX input in my alpine using a RCA cable?

If your deck does not have a USB plug to start with, then most likely there is no way to plug one in.

The source/power button in the top left corner changes the mode. Press the button until the aux appears. The auxillary device must be plugged in to register on the stereo.

Is the CDA-9827 capable of playing songs from an mp3 player (does it have an input option)?

The Alpine CDA-9827 only has an input connector for an external CD Changer.

You could get an FM Transmitter for your MP3 Player, and play your MP3 Player using your FM Radio in your Stereo.

What can i use the auxillary cable for

yes you can connect it to an ipod/iphone or anything with an aux outlet. Some require an adapter to the plug but it'll still work.

dont connect the pink/black wire just trouble these are signal interupt lead wires cap and tape off and the orange wire is the dimmer wire for when you turn your lights on and off
