It's normal. The pictures be noticed "cannot view unsupported formats" alway are these ones you have watch it on computer and have do some edit of them, such as turning and so on. Is this situation? This is normal, as the camera can't realize the action from PC.

Need Driver for ge x5 digital camera

You don't need a driver.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

When trying to review pictures taken the message unable to recognise files comes up and doesnt save the last picture taken. We have a x5 GE digital camera. This problem happens most of the time.

Hi

Sorry to hear of the problem with your GE X5 camera.

I would suggest you start by removing the memory card, placing it in a memory card reader attached to a computer. Download the SD Card Association formating program (http://www.sdcard.org/consumers/formatter/) then format the card.

This should solve any corruption issues the card could be suffering from which in turn could cause the problems you have.

Hope this helps

Sometimes pictures show up on memory card of GE x5 cam. sometimes they don't. what could be the problem?

You have an internal memory and memory card selection on your camera. If you have it set on internal memory you can take photos but they won't show up on the memory card unless you save them over to the card. Change your settings and this should fix the problem

I just bought a GE X5 on Dec 11, and while I was trying on the different features and switching between play back & camera modes, it just shut off. Yesterday, I was shooting a video and it hang. I have...

When shooting videos, you should have a class 6 or better card. Slow cards can't keep up with the amount of data and often "hang" or stall. This could be the problem. Does it still shoot photos ok?
