How do I convert and transfer music from my computer to my dmg ds140 mp3

Did you transfer MP3 files, i.e files with a .mp3 extension after the name, e.g. StarSpangledBanner.mp3 ? From the error messages you are getting, it looks to me that the files you transferred are not MP3 files. For example, when you press Play, one or more files are highlighted and the player tries to play the first (or the only one) highlighted, but it can't because it is in a format that is not supported, i.e. not MP3. When you click Music, the player starts looking for all the MP3 files that you have on the player or on an external memory card. It cannot find any, hence the 'empty disv/card' error message.

Cant play music in my touchmate mini shuffle mp3 player 2gb?

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format.You can download mp3 music files from the Internet toyour computer and then copy them to your MP3 player.For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs tomp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and thencopy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable tothe MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.Click on this link for instruction on converting musicfiles to mp3 file format :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5798418-creating_transferring_mp3_music_files

I have a UTStarcom Shuttle. I am trying to play to play music

Put a microSD memory card (limit 4GB) in the phone. Take a few pictures and make a short video .Use the phone menu to transfer the pictures an video to the external memory card. Use the media player to watch your recorded video. Try to play music and you will get a no content found message. Now, turn off the phone, remove the memory card and place it into an adapter that will connect to a computer by usb port. Windows should recognize it as a removable drive. If you look at that drive in Explorer you will see 3 folders. Pictures are in my_pix. Videos are in my_flix. Transfer .mp3 files to the my_music folder. When you put the card back into the phone you can play the mp3 files with the media player. Yes, I did this and it works.

When i put wripped music onto the phone a small

It could be that the music you transferred has a DRM (Digital Rights Management) protection.

if that's the case, open Windows media player on ur Pc then open the music files yoou transferred. If it's on the media player window, right click on the music then choose properties - go to the 3rd tab(Media User rights)
then disable the protection.

Hope that'll help you..

Note:There are 5 ways to add files from computer:
A.Drag and drop the computer files directly into the window of the software;
B.Right-click music library and choose "Add File" or "Add Folder";
C.Click "File" on the upper right corner, and choose "Add > Add File/Add Folder";
D.Right-click music library and click "Add File";
E.Click "Add" button on the top left, then choose "Add File" or "Add Folder".

Cant transfer music files from card to phone or find them.

I had the same problem and realised that you have to copy the file from the music section on your external memory to the sounds section. Firstly I sent an album to my memory card via windows media player and it went to the music section. My phone recongnised it was there on the external memory but not when I tried to play it through the mp3. I read an earlier message and it mentioned that the music needs to go into the sounds file so I copied it to that file and hey presto, I have music on my external memory that actually plays lol

Downloading music on my mp3

Your player appears as a USB mass storage device in the My Computer window. You can organize files and transfer music to your player while connected via USB connection.

1.     Click and highlight one or more songs to transfer between your player and your computer

2.     Use drag and drop actions to transfer music files and folders to your player

3.     Organize your music in folders. Your player will play your music folder by folder so that you can organize your music by artists and albums. You can drag and drop entire folders to your player. Your player will play the music files that are not inside folders first followed by the music files inside folders
