Emachines laptop keep freezing and making loud buzzing noise when i listen to music. please help

The buzzing/grinding noise is probably a bad connection if you are using earphones. Put a couple of drops of rubbing alcohol on some toilet paper and clean the prong for your earphones. Wait a minute and reinsert the plug into the jack. As for the freezing up of the video, you might want to download and install your video drivers for your emachine. Go to the manufacturer's web page to find the right ones. Don't forget to reboot after installations.

EMachines eMD620 suddenly shutdown and not boot anymore

When this happened was the laptop overly hot? If the laptop's head got too high it could have shutdown to protect itself. It wouldn't boot until the heat had disparate. Sit you laptop aside for about 30 minutes and see if it will boot then. If it does you might want to check out a cool mat.

Hard drive light stays on and system freezes

You may have a hardware problem of some sort. The first place I'd start is to check the power supply voltages. If one or more voltages is off tolerance, this will cause all sorts of symptoms. if you have a voltmeter check especially the +5, +3.3, +12, & +5 standby voltages. Use this site as a reference http://pinouts.ru/Power/atx_v2_pinout.shtml If the supply checks out faulty, buy a replacement, or, if tech savvy, you might repair it-- probable component defects= one or more electrolytic capacitors. Other possible problems are Memory errors (try subbing a RAM stick), hard drive developing errors, or a bad chip on the motherboard. If you have some spare parts, RAM, hard disk, you can try subbing parts and narrow down the problem.
