I'm just trying to find where solutions are posted to questions. I received an email notification that there was a solution posted for the question I asked on Sat. I clicked the link and it took me to my post, but I spent 10 minutes trying to find the soluton response and I can't locate it. Thank you

When your problem receives a solution you will be notified in a few different ways:

1. An email alert will be sent to the email address you registered with.
2. An alert will appear at the top of the website if your browsing the website or the next time you visit Fixya.
3. After signing in you will also see a new post on under the all activity section on your homepage.

When your question gets an answer you will be notified via email and also receive a notification on the website. To have a better chance at receiving an answer, make sure to provide as many details as possible so Fixya experts will have the information they need to provide a helpful answer.

If you asked your question here on FixYa, the solution will be posted on FixYa. You should receive an email notification as well as a notification on the FixYa website when a solution is posted.

You will be alerted in multiple ways when your question receives a solution on FixYa.

1. You will get an alert on the site, which displays in yellow below the main header of the site.

2. You will receive a notification on the "My Home" tab on your homepage when you log in.

3. You will receive a notification by email when an expert provides a new solution to your problem

If you want to stop receiving emails or notifications about a question you posted you can do that one of two ways:

To "Unfollow" Only One Problem

1. Click the Edit button next to your name.
2. Click the My Problems tab to the left of the screen.
   
3. Here you can select "Unfollow" on each of the problems you no longer wish to be contacted about.

To "Unfollow" All Problems & Solutions

1. Click the Edit button next to your name.
   
2. Select Emails to the left of the screen.
3. Select Unfollow, to unfollow all problem and solutions you are currently notified about.

Change email Settings: Choose to stop receiving all e-mails from FixYa except forgotten password requests and support e-mails.

1. Click the Edit button next to your name.
2. Select Emails to the left of the screen.
3. Select "Do not send me any more emails from FixYa"

If you wish to delete a question you posted, you will need to contact the FixYa Support team explaining the reason for removal. Either email support at [email protected] or fill out the support email form here.

There does not seem to be any other question for this account. You would have to re-post the initial question and once someone has answered the question you will receive a notification via email from FixYa.
You can also go to http://www.fixya.com/MyActivity.aspx once logged in to see all activity including answers to any questions if any.

It depends on the type of question you've posted. If it was a premium question and you've paid for the same then hopefully you might have received it on the same day you've posted. Usually, a premium question will be answered within an hour. If I am not wrong, it must be a premium question. If you have problem finding the answer, login to FixYa.com, click the "My FixYa" on the upper top corner of the page, click "My Activity" and then click your problem related to your printer and check for the answer.

Actually, if a user receives answers or comments, an email regarding the comment/answer is sent to the user's email address as a notification. Check your email address and see whether you've got any notification about the problem you've posted or not.

Also, at the time when you login to your fixya account, you will see a ribbon with "View " or similar button will be displayed on the top of the page, if you find this, simply click it and you'll be directed to the page.

on the system tab go to mail notification
make sure that your SMTP server address is set for you internet provider mine happens to be mail.optonline.net your provider should have this posted on their website.

put in your email address for receiptent mail address, select notification trigger to on and select the time.

that should do the trick
