SOURCE: Why am I getting a 6700 REV C message on my AquaLink RS6 home spa

I had the same issue, but only after I pressed the reset button on the side of the panel. After a couple of days of troubleshooting, I found a small nick in the wiring from the outdoor unit to the indoor paneI. I turned off the breakers to the pool equipment, rerouted a new cat5 cable, but cat3 will work just as well, wired it up and all was good. A local pool guy wanted to charge me about $2000 to replace both units. I spent less than $5.

Good luck

SOURCE: I have Jandy RS4 system with 4-button poolside

Pull the cover off the control panel. You will probably find a button which would be accessible from outside the panel with a paper clip or pencil but is unlabeled. On the board itself by the button, in small letters it should say "reset". Push the button and see what happens.

OH is the Over-Heat event code. Not likely related to the board, this comes up for a number of reasons -
Flow issues cause the heater tube to get too hot. Dirty filter, suction blockage, low water level etc...
Hi Limit sensor has failed or the temperature sensor reading incorrectly.

We have a hot tub or jacuzzi inside or on the side of our pool. We had a new heater installed. The jacuzzi should heat up very quickly but now the pool tech claims the drain from the jacuzzi is blocked,...

Is the equipment to heat and filter the hot tub separate from the pool equipment or do both bodies of water share a common heater and filter pump? In most cases they share a pump and heater with valves that direct the flow of water depending on how the pool owner wants to use the pools.

The first thing you need to determine then is if the equipment is working properly. Is there flow of water to and from the spa? If so, is the heater burner kicking on? If it is running, is it running properly with sufficient gas pressure, 3-4" tall bright blue flames and stays on continuously during the heating cycle for the spa?

What is 'very quickly' for the time to heat the water? In other words, if everything appears to be operating normally but the water is not warming fast enough or at all how much time is elapsing before deciding the heater is not working?

How old is this equipment and how much experience do you have with this pool tech or the company they are from?

Hot tub won't sence heat display says 70 and water is 114. All i did was shut the breaker off and change the seals. i have checked all the cables in and out of the control panel. Do you think it could be...

Yes ... it is not working or it is disconnected ... You have a serious defect somewhere.

Please, NEVER GET INTO WATER MORE THAN 105f ... and if it is at 105 ... limit your stay to 15 minutes ... Never put a kid into water that is more than 98. Modern hot tubs are not suppose to heat above 105.

not to mention it cost you a arm and a leg to heat that water ...
