check trans fluid, but 85% of the time its the transmision control selonoid.

make sure that you're using the switch located on the floor and not the one on the dash, if you are than i can get you a replacement, they are really easy to replace also

check the shifter switch under the dash and disconnect and reconnect just to make sure there is good connectivity

press the disp button and release then press again for 2 seconds it will start flashing and then use your forward or back buttons to set your time when you have the correct time time press the disp button again and release to set the time.

The problem is a worn shift fork in the transmission. Replace the forks and check forward gear pinions and forward shift dog pinions for wear and replace if they show any signs of wear.

if gasoline check the mechanical fuel pump, for leaks of any kind if leaking replece it.

if the owners manual doesnt call for it then you shouldnt do it
