the latest version of Media Player Classic (K-Lite Codec)

is a small but a very fine Media Player which also installs all the
required CODEC and you can play all audio - video files.

Most probably the you have not install the "Codec" necessary to play **Audio/Video formats from Youtube site.
You can get the codec @ http://www.free-codecs.com/ , depending on you Operating System. If you have a windows system and not sure which codec to install, just install the latest version K-Lite Mega Codec Pack or K-Lite Codec Pack. (Support Win XP, Vista, Win 7)

You might need to install a video player software and/or the necessary video codecs for the video to play. Have a look at VLC media player, free, light and supports most video formats. If you need additional codecs, consider K-Lite codec pack.
