Step 1: Try connecting your device to a charger, and let it sit there for 15 minutes and it might come back on. Reason : Maybe you forgot to charge it?
Step 2: If this does not work, try connecting your iPod to your computer for 15 minutes. (your iPod might not have been charged, and you might have a faulty wall charger)
Step 3: If this does not work, it may be because you have used your iPod's battery to its fullest extent meaning it no longer holds a charge. If this happens you can either

  1. Go to the Apple Store and if it has been less than 1 year since you purchased it, you can get a free replacement
  2. Go to the Apple Store and ask for them to repair it for a fee and some waiting time.
  3. Go to the Apple Store with the iPod and buy a new one - they will take 10% off the price of your new iPod.

When i turn my ipod on it only lights up to a blank white screen and won't do anything else

Try reseting it to factory settings plug it into the computer allow iTunes to start and it should fix the problem as long as it detects the device.

If this helped please rate

Thanks

My i pod touch is blank, i've followed the relevant stepr to restore it. after which an error code was given on i-tunes, i followed the steps given for the error but my i pod is still doing...

Try this:
Hold down the middle button (home button), the power button, and the volume DOWN button (make SURE that it's not the up one. It won't do anything, but it won't fix your iPod. Only the Down button will.).

Hold all of these down until the Apple sign shows up. Once the Apple sign shows up, it SHOULD work.
I hope this helps!

I forgot my password and i saw how to fix it but i dont now if every thing in my i pod will be there after i do it

If you use the restore feature in iTunes, it will return your iPod to factory settings. The songs/videos/games will be gone from the actual iPod, but they will remain in your iTunes Library and computer. You will need to upload them to your iPod again, but you won't need to re-buy anything.
