Hi. can you help me how to retrieve my password??. I'm using d-link wireless ADSL2+ Router

One is a guest. It still requires a password.

Tupe following in your internet browser's search box.
type 192.68.1.1
Then type your username set your secret password to access it.

By using your wifi security.
Log on to the router and turn on WPA2 security, choose a password, and you should be ok

Configure your router with below method then all messup will be fixed. Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. Then click on WAn settings and set wan settings as internet service provider settings. Then click on wireless settings then enable wifi also enter SSID name and enable broad cast turn on wifi . If you want to secure wifi then enable WEP in wireless security .Enter code it is your password to connect wifi. Then connect internet cable to WAN port then you can use internet with it. Login in using your browser and go to the wireless settings and set-up a wireless password/key. Remember the key because each device will now need it to connect. You can also turn OFF Broadcast SSID and your network name will not be shown on anyone's device. You must remember the network name when using this method.

Simple access router configuration using web browser, typically navigate to http://192.168.1.1 default user name/password are admin/admin. Go to wireless setup and uncheck enable AP check box, you will disable wireless by doing this.

that would be under the security tab change it the wpa unless you wanted to use some other form of encryption

These are the default settings:

When the login window appears, set the user name to Admin and leave the password box empty. If this doesn't work, you may also try admin for both username and password (all small letters).

If the default doesn't work, you may reset the password by pressing the reset button for 30 seconds. This will bring the router to factory default settings (including all the configurations set on the router).
