If you press the button for aspect ratio or go to picture menu you can adjust it.

Television scrfeen will not go back to normal, seems to be stuck on either a wide setting or stretch, have tried to go through controls and fix manually but it doesnt work

Hi, Look in TV menu for settings of screen. ( aspect setting) 4:3 , wide screen mode , Normal (full), Zoom mode. You want Normal (full) mode. Good luck.

It appears that the image on the screen is zoomed in, but I can't figure out how to "undo" that. Thank you!

If the image on screen is zoomed both in vertical and horizontal direction, your TVs power regulator inside it is faulty. [Overvoltage]. If it is zoomed in vertical direction only, that is only the height of the picture is zoomed, you can adjust it with the remote control button directly on going through menu and get in to the function menu. Normally all TV remote has a special button marked as "Zoom" which on pressing it once the picture get zoomed, again another press the picture gets wide and again an another press picture will come to normal mode. You should select normal mode to retify the problem.

Picture too big

It seems as if your tv is in "crop", "Zoom", or "full" mode. Select letterbox, normal, or full-screen mode. Look in the manual for exact instructions.

Stuck in zoom

You should be able to get to the menu with the front panel buttons. Otherwise, try unpluging for a minute, this may allow a reset. Please do not rate me if this is no help.

Samsung 1080p LCD TV stuck on zoom

I had the same problem. It's the default setting on your HD cable box. You have to go under the cable box's "settings" and switch it from "Zoom 1" to "Normal." I found the solution on Samsung's webpage. Can't tell you how much that was driving me nuts.

TV screen wont turn on but just a loud noise coming from the tv

I think maybe the G-board needs to be replaced. A TV shop will have to repair it. They normally start around $200.00

Have you checked the aspect ratio?? May be that when the kids had the X-Box hooked up they simply changed the aspect to zoom.

Jvc television

If you have zoom button on the remote and it doen't work the remote may be defective. If the zoom is in the menu you can go in there an turn it off.
