I have the same problem with the 3 pc here in my shop 1st problem is DVD/cd Drive can't read the CD even the CD is new and no scratches. but if i tried plug it to other computer and load other cd its working so i had a conclusion that the CD drive is choosing what DVD/CD to read. so i change the DVD drive

now it's ok it can read my window xp service pack3 and now its loading but the 2nd problem is, when window xp load it will suddenly stop and displaying error saying missing boot.sys.dll press escape to exit.

now if this the same problem you are having. check your memory card.it seems that it has some inconsistency issues thy testing it using a memory card testing tools or have it replace

i wish my little knowledge may help you
rate me up if this solve your problem and let me know if i did help you
tnx

No audio output device is installed!!!!help

A lot of the newer audio chipsets (especially in laptops) use Microsoft's Universal Audio Architecture (UAA). Windows 7 and Vista don't need a separate driver, but XP does. So you need one of Packard Bell's combo driver packages like this one:

http://support.packardbell.com/uk/item/index.php?i=6944060200

There are a lot of different EasyNote models, so if this isn't the right package for your computer, enter your serial number in the support site to find the specific downloads.

Cant get vista off my pakardbell i media x2414 i would like to put xp on it

Dear Sir.

In order to get xp on your computer.

You need to install windows xp by formating your computer by using the windows xp operating system cd.

If your computer comes vista installed on that you need to get xp cd from your packerd bell support.

Try installing Linux to make sure that the hardware is working properly. Is it possible that they are switched off in bios, thereby preventing Windoze from finding them ?

Packard bell; vista laptop

Most laptops that are vista compliant can be forced to you XP, but!! Some drivers are XP Pro or Home specific, so I were you I'd check on Packard Bell's website for which version you can install.
