Good Morning Denise, thank you for your inquiry!
From the information you have provided your Frigidaire freezer is making a buzzing noise and it will not stop. You may need to perform a reset on your freezer and you can do that by disconnecting the power cord for at least ten minutes. If the buzzing continues I would be happy to research your freezer further, in order to do so I would need your model number. You can locate the serial tag (which lists your model number) on the inside wall. Once I have that information I would be happy to help you further. -Matt

The green light should be a normal running light and the other one, either yellow or red(ish) should be a high temp alarm. Check the contents to make sure they are still reasonablly frozen and if not start finding the cause....Is the condensor fan motor running correctly? Is the condensor coil clean and free from dirt/lint/fuzz which serves to restrict the transfer of heat? Is there an excessive accumulation of ice build up indicating possibly a problem with the automatic defrost cycle?
Your refrigerator has at least three motors with fans in addition to the compressor motor. The one most suspect is the one that passes air from the freezer to the refrigerator. samsung refrigerator noise YouTube
What happens is the defrost is controlled electronically from a circuit board, when this goes bad, the freezer quits defrosting, and freezes the fans that circulate air through the fridge side of things.
To check this, unplug the entire fridge, leave the freezer open, wait for it to defrost a bit, if this causes the fridge to start cooling again when you plug it back in, then its the defrost. You should also see ice crystals on the back of the freezer just under the icemaker.
Hi,
hope the following helps you, I had a similar problem with my RSH1 and it took me a few hours searching online before I found the following. "Hi, I have it on good authority that this is the system check for Samsungs (RS21, SRS20, etc) during normal operation, is to hold the top two buttons down, just until display flashes - this will reset the electronics. Secondly, if the top two buttons are held down for longer (8 seconds) the display goes blank and will show any error messages in the form of DASHES I have experimented with unplugging air or frost probes - and the error code you get -on a blank screen is different parts of the last digit lighting up. Example: when i disconnect the fridge air-probe, shut both doors, hold down top buttons around display - The SIDE of the last "8" digit lights up ! ...strange but true. But, I need to know what it means when the BOTTOM of the "8" digit lights up"
I am still trying to find a list of the error codes the lines refer to but so far my unit is working fine.

the loud buzzing is the freezer high temp alarm. dont know why its warm though. make sure you don't store anything on top of or on the sides of the unit as the condenser of most freezers are buried in the walls of the unit and it will over heat the compressor. if unit is in a hot garage this will compound the problem.
Since I could get no one to tell me about new freezer compressor making buzzing noise while on, I had the store come a pick it up and give me my money back.
