You could try gently sliding a thin blade in the top of the tray slot to hold the CDs down whilst, equally gently prising the underside of the tray with a small screwdriver (it may help to press teh open/eject button at the same time).

CD jammed in player. Won't open.

Your going to have to take it apart and manually remove the cd.
To do this remove the top cover.
Make sure the power is off and that it is unpluged when doing so.

I have a pioneer cdj 500 cd deck. Havent used it for a while , put cd in, makes a quiet whirring noise as if its about to start turning and then displays error 192. Cd door wont open, help please

You could try to spray some oil into the spindlemotor, sometimes(very rare) they tend to stick a bit and will not turn properly or keep the right speed.

Screen comes on, disk turns, loading starts, and doesnt stop

With the power turned off, open the DVD Player, and then open the top where you load the DVD into the player. Locate the laser lens and notice that the laser is attached to a transport assembly that moves the laser diagonally outward in a slot. 1. Slide this assembly outward to the end of its track. 2. Slide the assembly back inward to the closest inward position. 3. Repeat the process of sliding the assembly outward and then back inward.4. Put in a music CD and let it play all the way through. This helps to calibrate the laser head assembly movement. When the music CD is finished playing. 5. Put in a DVD, and you should have a working unit again This is a factory solution from Mintek that was given to a customer who ask for help with the forever loading disc problems. This solution may work on other models of portable DVD players. Most portable DVD players use this type of transport mechanism. Try this solution it might work for you.

Error message

I had this happen to me as ell. you've probably got a cd stuck under the revolving tray. I took the top cover off and then opened the drawer and removed the offending disk. If you're not technically minded it's probably better to take it in to a repair shop. Mike

Cd player wont play

The error code is a mechanical error fault, possibly something in the mechanics that load the CD onto the spindle motor. The only sure way to know what the problem is, is to open the unit and let it load a disc and see what happens. The problem may also be due to a very dirty laser lens, with a dirty lens the laser won't be able to read the TOC (table of contents) and all the CD's will cycle through the changer and a error code will be set. Best of Luck.
