Can i get guard for 10" miter saw

I am not finding a replacement lower guard for your model of Kobalt miter saw for sale online.

In the owner's manual for the Kobalt miter saw model SM2507LW (Kobalt is owned by Lowe's), I found the following information on the last page (page 50):

As long as your model number was good..... You don't need the entire assembly right? Just the guard. $14+ +shipping.

If you want to replace the plastic cover there is a screw towards the front of the saw that must be removed and then the bolt at the back loosened and the guard will pull off. If you need more info get back to me with the other questions and I will try and help

I don't know but if you have figured it out let me know. I have same prroblem.

take off the shroud and guard to expose the arbor. when you have the shaft exposed, apply a small amount of axle gease to the shaft.

The spring wraps near the shaft to pull the guard close.

Are you talking about the lower guard if so the number is 43-54-0695 and if you will give me an idea where you are located with zip code I will try and find someone close. If you are looking for another guard please let me know and I will get that information for you

OK first raise the cutting head. Loosen the screw that holds the guard in place and move out of the way. Find the spindle lock on the right hand side of the gearcase and turn blade by hand (UNPLUG SAW FIRST) until it locks. With the wrench supplied with saw put it on the blade bolt and turn it clockwise to loosen, it has left hand threads, remove outer flange and blade. Let me know it you need any more help

Lift the guard up and you will see a nut holding the blade. You should not have to remove guard to change blade. Make sure unit is unplugged before working on it.
