Speaker are not working properly - Sony VAIO (PCWA-A200)

Hi, Make sure the speakers are plugged in to the green plug on the card. Also make sure card is properly in the right slot. Good luck.

Well that proves the hardware works. Crack the manual for the unspecified model and see why the source selected or the sound mode selected don't utilize those speakers.

The problem may be of many reasons. Some of them are : - Bad cable - Speaker not working properly - speaker not connected properly - Driver problem
Check that you have properly connected your speakers to your computer and also check for any cuts or bruises in the cable. Connect your speakers to any other device such as your phone or pmp to check whether the speaker is working. You must also update your sound drivers to the latest version. If the problem still persists you may have to get your motherboard repaired.

connect wires properly using converters.after that Properly set in the audio driver(eg:realtek means set 5.1surrounded)

check properly that the system sound is properly configured and check that the all the speakers are working or not then see that the setting is 5.1 audio channel then also check the volume controller level in the amplifier. if all these settings doesnt work then download srs soundbox from www.google.com and install it and configure it properly to get a loud sound.

Check you sound properties. The computer may not have configured the speakers properly. Make sure the speakers are listed and that the correct drivers are installed. Doublecheck that you have the plugs in the proper jacks. Hope this helps.

rear speakers wont work

try going to control panel, then click on the icon for sound , check and see if the properties for this are active if not you may need to set the parameters for the speakers to work correctly

click on the check box only sarround kit in the speaker configration and see to that u have connected all the ports correctly check out with the software turn everything to defaults do a sound test in ac97 configration if all the speakers are working properly then ur speakers are right and there might be some wrong settings in the audio driver software and u can set it right by the above stated method or else reinstall the audio driver and it make the settings as i have stated above if u have have sound blaster card in that software u should make the settings to 5.1 after all these also ur speakers are not working play ur speakers in some other computer which plays these 5.1 channel speakers there also if the problem persists ur speaker is not proper if does not do the setings as i have stated above then the speaker should play the sound
