My thinkpad laptop keyboard got .locked how do i unlock it???

This is a function key operation.
Fn+K: has the same function as the Scroll Lock key on a conventional keyboard.

1. • 1 Locate the "Fn" key in the lower left corner of your Thinkpad keyboard.
     
   • 2 Locate the "F2" key in the upper left area of the keyboard.
     
   • 3 Press and hold the "Fn" key, then press the "F2" key to toggle the "Lock" feature. Release both keys.

Number lock, a situation where numbers instead of letters are typed is as a result of the digital lock being active. to deactivate pressing the Fn+Numlk or Fn + Shift +Numlk key combinatioins

ensure the trakpoint is enable in the thinkpad configuration utility

Press Ctrl-Shift-NumLk to lock or unlock the number lock feature. The NumLk key should be the same key as ScrlLk at the upper right hand part of your keyboard. 

The numeric lock function is on. To disable it, press and hold Shift; then press NumLk.
