When i open my magic jack its show me 401 error what is solution for that problem

You should clean your computer from the effects of programs and browsers and then close the device and then open a new site of the new browser

Please check your internet connection and make sure your internet is not intermittent. monitor the dsl light on your modem and you should see SOLID green all the time. once it flashes green or flashes red that means you have intermittent connection

401 is a server error, it means that the page that you are trying to view is not located on the server. Verify that you have the correct spelling, filename completely, extension (.html, .htm, .php, etc) and that you are in the correct directory in case the file that you are trying to view is not in the root/www directory.

Uninstall the software. Then reinstall it.

This error usually shows up when magicjack does an update. You will need double check if you can log into my.magicjack.com if you can then you will need to reinstall the magicjack software and try again. If you cannot log in then there is an update taking place and you will need to wait it out.

This means that you probably have a firewall up. You need to change your firewall settings so the Magic Jack is allowed access.

Below is the exact list of the TCP and UDP Ports that you will have to open in your firewall and router (NOT port forward) to achieve 100% connectivity:

TCP Ports List: 80 (HTTP), 443 (HTTPS)
UDP Ports List: 5060, 5070, 10000-65535

They are very helpful

You can use Magic Jack customer care at http://www.magicjack.com/2/customercare.asp

I talked to 3 operators. The long and the short of it is that they had me:
1. remove a Majic Jack related folder from an applications folder
2. insert MJ1 and MJ2 in the Windows Firewall exceptions
3. format the Majic Jack software "drive"....and then install an upgrade.

Based on this, I think the problem crops up in the Majic Jack software. So far, it has fixed my problem, though I've not made a long call yet.

I found the Majic Jack operators very helpful. Be sure to have them step you through this.
