I have a r/c ducted LG air conditioner. The control panel is flashing displaying CH 12. The filter is clean, so shouldn't be the issue. Do you have a suggestion?

    No visible oil stains. I found another solution posted suggesting it could be:
    "Outdoor unit PCB EEPROM failure....try removing EEPROM and refitting if removable (possible contact fault), otherwise replace PCB if the EEPROM is non removable."

Hi Jamie hig595, I suggest that you check around both machines to see if you can see any oil stains,: ie: inside the outdoor unit, where the pipes are connected to the outdoor machine and indoor machine, or even around the outdoor case itself. Any oil stains would suggest that your system has lost gas and therefore you will need a serviceman. If thge machine will run at all are the fans working? hope this is helpful,regards Col

    There is no visible oil - i found another suggestion to the same problem posted a few weeks ago:

    Perhaps this is the issue.

just press the arrow keys up down and hold it for few sec till beep comes..(on ac scree not on remote)... this indicates cleaning of air filters..

Have you cleaned the filter? Check the condensate drainpipe is not blocked by blowing into it from the outside.

if ch error is displayed on your samsung ac . press and hold the up and down arrow mark(in the ac control pannel and not in remote ) simultaneously for few sec untill u get a beep sound from it ... this is a default seting to remind u to clean the air filter
