This error appears when you have problems with TERMISTORS in fusing unit. You have to replace termistors if you can't reset the service call condition in service mode.

Hi! Check the hot roller surface if it has a round scratch on it surface,where the some of both thermistor contact it.If it`s so,just change hot roller and the termistor.

It's not the PCU (photoCONDUCTOR unit), It's either a thermistor or blown out heater lamp in the fuser. Call a tech. The code can only be reset in service mode

Hello sir; This error code is indicate video process error, may be can be reset, the procedure as follow;
press "clear mode", "107", then press and hold down "clear/stop" key for about 3 sec., until SP menu display, touch "copier sp" on screen, enter 581002 then press 1, then turn power off and back on. see what's happen. good luck !

Its a fuser code. Hold down both of the arrow keys for 10 seconds, then press enter. Select 2 for engine, ok, select 7 for data log, ok, scroll to 7807 and execute. exit all of the way out until you get back to engine, then select 3 for end. Recycle power.

SC 541
Take the fuser out and clean under the thermistors, and reset the code by entering test mode ( turn off printer hold down online and escape as you turn on printer selece 2 engine go to sp5-810 and reset this.
