I used the Delta 1010LT for quite some time with no issues and then suddenly started having random spurts of distortion in my playback, It would be entire takes. Either the take was clean or it was distorted. That was with XP Pro. Now I've switched to Windows 7, installed the latest driver and have distortion all the time. I am using Sonar. My box is a quad core dual Xeon with 8 gigs of ram. Thanks.

You might need to Increase the Latency In the FirePod Control panel to a higher/greater value. Try 25.0 ms first just to see if this solution works for you. Then go down from there until you find the line between clean and distortion.

Hi I am Vortash get a tape head cleaner for Hi 8 cameras and try that , most people never actually clean the camera it's something we all forget to do if its not tha you may have contamination in the lens or a taget imager fault regards Vortash
