Frozen screen When you turn on the screen it will not go anywhere beyond the SANSA screen

format. if this doesn't work, try to upgrade the firmware. be careful though...this update ruined mine, and sansa support simply said it was beyond repair

turn it off, take out the battery, then replace it, turn it back on. see if this helps.

STEP 1 – Reset the device

1. Press the Power button and hold it for approximately 10 seconds.
2. Release the Power button once the device is powered down.
3. Turn the device back on.

STEP 2 – Download and Install the Sansa Firmware Updater

Hold down the power button for fifteen seconds. Wait ten seconds before turning the device on again to let the RAM clear out.

Have you tried to reset the device by holding the power button?

Mine froze in play position, but no sound.


Here's what worked for me. Mine is the Sansa M250

1)Plugged the player into the PC and removed all the MP3s

2)Downloaded update program from Sansa link below

3) Install the program

4) Plug the Sansa into your PC.

5) Program automatically starts and allows you to check for software update. Do so and let the program update your player.

Fixed my freeze problem. Player working perfectly now.

my e200 does that im sooo pissed it just stays on the screen turns blue than goes back to home screen. i let the batteries run out and the same thing still happens!!

is my sansa broke or wat. when i plug the usb cord in the sansa comes on and wen i take it out it goes off , but the screen don't come on......i suffered the problem of wen the screen do come on it stops at the sansa rhapsody part then start over back to the big sansa screen then sansa rhapsody..........someone please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
