I purchased a Verbatim 96902 optical nano mouse and can't get it to respond correctly. It moves slow if at all. Any thoughts?

You could try changer your mouses speed settings.
To do this go to Start>Control Panel> And open Mouse. Then go to the Pointer Options tab and turn up the speed under "Select a pointer speed"
This might be a little different depending on your OS.
If you turn it up and your mouse is still slow try cleaning the lens on the bottom.
If it still does not work, try to return it and get a different one.

Just have the mouse- wont work. have batteries in, have receiver plugged in. computor say working correctly. but isnt working

Try this;
Go to (>) Start>Control Panel>Bluetooth
A window will open showing you all the wireless devices that are already recognised by your computer. If the icon for this mouse is shown there then highlight it and click 'Remove Wireless Device'. Then click "Yes" (Sometimes removing a device and then reinstalling it fixes the problem)

NOW

Click on Add Wireless Device ( a new window will open and the computer will search for the device. When it finds the mouse an icon will appear. Highlight the icon and click Next
The computer will load the driver for the mouse.
Once this is done the mouse should be working OK.

Also check this:
Go to (>) Start>Control Panel>Bluetooth
Click on "Bluetooth Settings"
Place a tick in the box next to "Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer > Apply > OK

How do I update my wireless mouse?

try updating the mouse drivers. Go to the Verbatim manufacturer website, search your model of mouse and download the latest driver. To update drivers on windows go Control panel>device manager>mice/input device then right click your mouse and update driver software. If the mouse continues to play up even though it works on other computers then the mouse is probably incompatible with your operating system.
