The time and date comes from the Norstar KSU not from the phone.

I have a 1987 Meridian phone and the model number is m7310. We are trying to set up a manager on the call buttons. We want to be able to push their name and be able to reach them.

From the idle 7310, press FEAT *2 the button and dial their extension.

If you get a nasty notification, like Denied in Admin, or Set Locked, you'll need the system administrator password and procedure to unlock the phone..

Installed this NT9K08AD03 where a NT8B30AD03 was and the new phone does not work. Meridian Compact ICS 2.0

The M2008 set (NT9K08AD03) doesn't work on a CICS system. It works with the Meridian PBX systems. The type of sets that work with a Compact ICS system are M 7100, 7208, 7310, 7324 and T 7100, 7208, 7316, 7316e as well as some of thier cordless sets.

Working with old nortel meridian 1 phones 7208 when placing an outside call dials in pulse mode help

you will need the installers password and that is **266344 or **config. After you are in the system scroll through untill you get to dial mode than change back to pulse. If you cannot get into the system with that password someone has changed it. The password i have given you is the default password and 99.9% it is not changed. If it has been changed and you don't know it go to the phone system it might be tagged or marked on the system itself alot of techs do it that way.

Meridan 7208 help please

Dear sheryl498,

Your phone is designed for a PBX (Private Branch Exchange) unit like the Compact ICS or the 6x16 TCU that was at the office. It is not compatible with regular POTS lines or standard home lines.
