I have a fairly new qrm 400a, it stopped working all of sudden. when i plug in the power, blue lights are on, the remote control can be turned on and off but the rollers are not responding.What happened? it seems to happen to other owners too, please help. thanks

I would suspect a fault but check the batteries in the remote are fitted
correctly.

My soundbar won't power up. So I pull the battery out of remote, press a few buttons, put the battery back in and all of a sudden the device can be powered up and controlled. Until next time it stops responding. I replaced that original battery with a new one but the problem still persists.

you can test your remote with a mobilephone camera like this:

open camera on the phone an hold the remote front against the camera

(approx 10cm from it) press a button and look in the display on the phone.

if the controller works you should se a blue light in the display coming from the remote front.

if no light: try other batteries again note the battery polarity. no light= controller broken.

if there is light= the remote is working. try to disconnect power from the DVD for a few minutes,

and try again. if it still not works the player is propably broken.

It will often appear clear in view with a reflective window which often has a black, blue, or red tint to it 2. Clean the same window on the programmable remote 3. Please confirm with me which codes your attempting to use when programming, and type /model number of the universal remote 5. Keep in mind that the remote that does not work as a replacment may very well be exchanged 6. Only use approved batteries for your remote and keep in mind that rechargeable batteries account for 50 percent of electronic errors 7. If your old remote simply stopped working for no reason at all, then we may have a communication problem with the tv combo set itself. 8. Ensure that the tv set is ready and able to receive a signal by setting it to the factory defaults within the settings menu 9. If we know why your older remote simply stopped transmitting the signal, we will acheive a must faster solution 10. Please attempt a fresh set of batteries in the older remote to determine the root cause behind the transmission problem 10. Check your power cord for crimping, dents, or pinched underneath unit. Each of these activities will cause power to stop transmitting to your unit 11. the digital display is not popular for having problems. 12. Ensure that you press the power on button on the digital display firmly at an attempt to power the unit on. 13. If you still have not recieved power, we will continue to troubleshoot the internal portions

If the fan does not work anymore could be that the motor has burned out, even if the light still works, had that happen to us.

Try installing new batteries such as Duracell batteries. Make sure they are installed properly in the remote with positive to positive nodes and negative to negative node. If you own a digital camera, you can test the remote to see if it is working. Point remote at camera (powered on) and press a button on the remote. If you see a blue / purple light on the remote's led, then the remote is working. If not, then the remote is probably broken and you need to buy a new one.

try changing the drivers door lock

If you have not already, register your product with the company. And contact them regarding the malfunction. they should replace the part or the product if you send it in.
