Question about Panasonic Panafax UF-595 Plain Paper Laser Fax

We have a fax machine Panasonic KX-FT21. everytime we turn it on, it prints an Important message which says "PLEASE SET-UP DIAL UP MODE". Then the LCD keeps on showing the wrong time and the CHECK MEMORY continuously. We already tried to set up every feature of the unit then while it's on, it works just fine. but once we unplug it, the same problem happens - it prints the PLEASE SET UP DIAL UP MODE and the "CHECK MEMORY". Please help! Many thanks in advance!

You need to replace the backup battery located on the main printed circuit board. These are usually soldered onto the board but some have receptacles which make replacement easier.

Thanks for the prompt reply. However, i would need time to open the unti and check the battery needed as it's still being used at the moment. Will post result once action's been done. many thanks!

I realize this thread is old, but I just encountered the same problem with my Panasonic KX-FL501. Pressing #9000* does not work, as none of the key pads are responding. When I lift the receiver I get a tone. But the keys don't respond when I dial. Display shows "please wait"..... I've been waiting for hours.

How can I turn off the auto answer feature of the pansonic kx fh332. I never want it to pick up and go to fax mode.

Set the fax machine to Telephone mode by pressing
{RECEIVE MODE} until TEL MODE is
displayed.

Wrong in receive fax (only one page coming)

Contact the sender and tell them to press STOP when their machine starts to dial.

make sure that "autoreduction" is set to on. should be in your owners manual. also, make sure your paper size is set correctly.

So, people, really! "Call service"message means CALL the SERVICE! (The problems can be various, so only the service can check wich is is the give problem and solve it.)

Panasonic KX-FM220 fax machine does not have a dial tone

is your line provider ok.connect your line to ordinary phone to check if there is really a dial tone from the line provider.if there is a dial tone please let the analog board be cheked by a technician near you

It will not start printing,or exept printing or copying

Try unplugging the power cord and re plugging in.

If it rings but won't pick up, you may be set for MANUAL mode.
