My ghwp150pwo whirlpool duet washer has just recently started to make surging sounds while draining. I bought it brand new in March of 2005 The water seems to all drain out, clothes seem to be the same degree of dampness as always.. its just this odd surging sound that isnt normal. It has the original drain hose on it. Is there a filter to clean out? Manual does not mention one.

Well I can do the Drano down the standpipe, but the surging is from the washer, you see and hear it in the hose that is going from the washer to the drain standpipe. Im sorry if I was not
clear enough. By "see" it I mean you see the hose **** a bit
as it surges if that makes any sense.. that is why I thought perhaps it was something wrong with the hose, maybe a filter we should clean out ect...
