No picture I have the 46" Mitsubishi WT-46805. It has not been used much in the last year or so as I have been travelling a lot. A month or two ago, I noticed that one of the colors (don't remember which) would occasionally pull out about an inch or so above the other two, but would only last a few minutes. Two days ago when I came home and turned it on, I got no picture. The power light comes on and I hear it click. I tried changing inputs, then noticed if the input source was noisy, I would see some lines at the top of the screen just when the channel/input changed, then they pull all the way to just above the screen except for just a little light being visible at the very sides. That sounds like no vertical deflection - is that right? Is this possible to repair with a circuit board replacement? Thanks for any help.

    Someone suggested the projection bulb needs replacing. There are actually three tubes in this unit: blue, green, and red. They would not all have gone out at once, and that can't be the problem if I am seeing light on the screen as described in my original post.

I am attempting to connect a Verizon Fios QIP6200-2 HD set top box to my Mitsubishi WT-46805 HD TV using the Y, Pr and Pb RCA connections (no HDMI port on TV) I cannot get any HD channels to work.

The set will have two component inputs, one is NOT HD.

You want to connect to the DTV input which if you look from the back will be marked 480/1080 I .

Also double check the connections to be sure blue-red-red and green to green.

Mits 46805 - Replaced IC's now picture is dim!

Good Day, Nickb2b;

The IC's you installed will not cause a dark/dim picture......but I would like you to check two things:

1. Make sure you put all cables that you may have unplugged into their proper positions, the cables are marked with numbers, ensure all cables are properly seated,

2. Look for fluid on the PCB's.

Good Luck, big IRISH.

Mitsubishi WT 46805 ~ Picture gone..... :0(

Good Day, Corri;

It sounds like the TV has a Circuit problem in the convergence circuit. If it comes and goes then the concern can be corrected by re-soldering the 'conv' output IC"s. A semi-minor repair and cost.

Good Luck, big IRISH.
