Line faults & possible causes to LCD & Plasma screen are given with illustrations. You can get an idea about the fault to an extent. Faults to all LCD & Plasma screen are similar, irrespective of its brand and screen size.
Settings. It sounds like the convergence. It needs to be adjusted. Have had this problem before. A lot of people actually throw there TVA away because they have this problem and they think its broken, when its usually just a simple fix of adjusting the convergence. You have to make sure the little box, on the convergence settings is in the middle. Hope it fixes ur problem. :)
If this tv vertical colors lines problems happen by itself,tv problems not causes by u or an object by hitting forces to the tv LCD screen panel itself.The tv board that call the T-CON board it is dead,this board sit in the bottom in the middle of the LCD screen panel.Must be replaced the T-CON board to solve tv vertical colored vertical lines.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole new refurbish T-CON board for the replacement.If causing by u or an object by hitting forces it to the LCD screen panel itself.The tv not worth a whole tv anymore,because by replacing the tv LCD screen panel will cost the same as a new tv.
Check first for bad solder on the vertical IC, Im not sure for your set as I do not have the service manual, but it may be location IC301. If after resoldering it does not fix it you may have to replace it and you should replace the electrolytic capacitors in the vertical section.
