This is a "spacing alarm". check that the printhead moves freely from left to right. If not, remove the ribbon and try it again. If it is moving freely then it should be ok, if not it will need most likely the space motor or the main board replaced. In some cases it is also possibly the white carriage cable that runs from your main board to the space motor. Hope this helps.

Printer Throws Alarm, HSD, Prop error and Head Problems

Most likely, you need to lubricate the shaft the head moves on and clean the positioning tape (carefully, the marks on it can be dissolved).
Unplug the printer while it's moving the head, so you can manually move the head around. Use light oil, such as used in sewing machines.

All alarms go off; 1 of 6 alarms has a flashing green light

Your alarms are interconnected, meaning when one alarm goes off, they all go off. The alarm with the flashing green light is the one that triggered the alarm. If it only went off once, it was probably just fluke thing, and you can reset the alarm memory (flashing green light) by pressing the test button. If it happened more than once, you should try cleaning the alarm. Do this by removing the alarm, and blowing compressed air into the sensor opening (located around the back side perimeter of the alarm). If this fails, replace it.
