LSR7233DQ1 washer will agitate good with load but will not spin with load. any help. thanks

I would start by checking the belt on the motor could be slipping when u put full load in washer. also check that pulleys are not loose.

Does sound like it's not balanced properly, or maybe it's set on drip dry instead of spin , basic solution i know but often the best lol ,

this is for the whirlpool washer,if you grab the top of the agitator can you spin it both ways without it grabbing,it should only spin one way,if you can spin it both ways you have bad dogs,the agitator cam kit part number is 285809 and it's around 13 dollars.pop off the center cap of the agitator,remove the 7 1/6 inch screw in the middle and pull off the top of the agitator to get at the dogs,you'll see them there are 4 of them,they waer down and the top of the agitator doesn't work.watch this video.

go to www.searspartsdirect.com put in you model number and you can pull up a explode view of the transmission.

If it has a filter, clean it out and start again

sounds like an over heated motor. motors tend to do that before finially hitting a brick wall. please e-mail me for any other assistance. good luck :)

This model has a safety switch in the door switch. This switch goes bad and the machine will not spin or agitate. Have that replaced and you will be back in business. Hope this helped you out. Good luck.

fill washer and make sure it agitates. If it does not agitate but can here motor running you have a bad motor coupling. If it agitates but wont spin make sure lid switch is good, if good you have a bad gearcase.

Check to make sure connection by motor are good sometimes one phase of the motor will go bad that might be the case try the selector switch for agitator speed on different settings
