New Pump-- that most likely had nothing wrong with it ?

New steering rack that failed ? Only Racks get tight,
not the pump

Still tight because the upper strut bearings a worn out
& possibly other suspension joints as well,fairly old vehicle

If it was mine, I would have laid it up for a couple weeks & taken
the entire front end apart & inspected all of it & replaced all
worm parts

When you don't work on your on stuff & depend on a repair shop ,your at a big disadvantage & the cost factor comes into
play, so you do a little as possible,that is not how to care for
a car as they age

check the fluid level also make sure your belt or belts are tight.

in the resevoir bottle but i dont know hwere it is on this vehicle ,look near front of engine is the first place to look

take your steering wheel of . you have a little spring in there onder a round plate replace it

horn don t work fuse is good and looking for wiring diag. to replace horn button in stiring wheel

sounds like your low on fluid or the powersteering pump is going out

pover steering reservoir low on fluid or steering pump went down,check the fluid level and fill to max first if not you need exchange steering pump
