I have a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan. This morning I noticed a flashing red light on the upper right hand of my dashborad. Normally if a light appears it appears with a symbol but not this time it was just a small red light flashing. What could this be?

You are overheating. Check antifreeze level and Relays for the cooling fan. Also the temperature sensor which activates the relays could be bad.

well its in your manual and all it is is a security system light, your definitely fine to drive it. its been on in mine since we hit around 40k

Cycle the key on, off, on, off. on. Then count the flashes 12 is normal 55 is end of sequence

WHEN SERVICE VECHICLE LIGHT COME ON.THE DEALERSHIP HAS TO CHECK OUT EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM.MAKE SURE ALL EMISSION COMPONENTS IS WORKING PROPERLY.THEN THEY HAVE TO RESET SERVICE VECHICLE LIGHT WITH A SPECIAL SCANNER.

THAT LIGHT IS EITHER THE PARKING BRAKE LIGHT WHICH MEANS YO PROBABLY PUSHED IT 1 CLICK BY MISTAKE SO PULL THE BRAKE RELEASE TO MAKE SURE,OR IT'S TELLING YOU IT'STIME TO CHANGE THE BRAKES.HOPE THIS HELPS

First thing I would have checked is the charging system, battery load test, alternator charging, all connections to battery cleaned & checked, as well as any ground straps connected from engine to frame, or firewall.
