Hello,

Please enter *#7370# on your mobile . this will ask for factory settings reset. Please note that when you restore the factory settings, all your data in the phone might be erased so make sure you take a backup of the data and contacts before you perform a restore. I can't put my nokia 6300 into restore factory settings mode..

The defaulkt security code for Nokia is 12345. You can reset the security code using : *#7328748263373738#. It works on most nokia phones. Worth giving a try.

And if the phone says simcard rejected, then the most common problem is that the phone probably might have been locked. You can get it unlocked for 5 quids in your local market.
