I have a new panasonic tv a sony blue-ray player and bose sound bar. Freeview works fine. However there is no audio when using the blue-ray which is connected via HDMI.

It is possible that you have not got the right sound settings for the blue-ray or other equipment. Check that each device, especially the blue-ray is outputting the sound via the HDMI. Look at the sound settings using the remote for each device. The best sound is often obtained by using an optical lead. So if your devices have the connections for an optical lead, buy one of them and enjoy the superior sound of the blue-ray. HD channels on Freeview also offer Dolby sound, which you can get with an optical link better.

I can not get my surround sound to work with my sony bravia HBD-E570 blue ray, while watching dish

I use HDMI cables for my blue ray DVD player, not sure if you do. If so, make sure surround sound is connected to your TV in the right jack. My surround system is old, so only uses RCA's (red, white, yellow). I plug mine into the audio out jacks (red, white) just below the HDMI 1 jack. Only the red and white are required for sound but also can use video (yellow) for higher quality. That is the main audio out. Plug into that and you should have all sound that is on your TV also sent to your surround system.

I have a Sony google tv blue ray player NSZ-GT1 my son put a DVD in the player with one already in it. Anyone know of a fix?? Thanks

You must open the top cover of the player to eject it out. Seek tech assistance, as this is a skilled work. Sometimes, the loader mechanism might need to disassemble to take CDs out.

I have a Sony BDP300 Blue Ray DVD Player. It plays non-blue ray dvd's fine. It plays a Celine Dion Blue Ray DVD fine. Tried to play an Netflex Blue Ray Amiela Earhart DVD and get picture but no sound. ...

I suggest that you install the latest firmware update to resolve the issue. Please click the following link to download the latest firmware update.
http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-download.pl?upd_id=6170&mdl=BDPS300
It is recommended to use CD -R disc to create the firmware update disc. I hope you're clear with downloading the update from support page. Once you download and save the file in the folder in the computer, you can double click the file to extract. You will be prompted to save the UPDATE_BDPS300_VER0550.ISO file in a folder. Most of the customers will be making mistake here after... We need to use a burning software which is capable to burning discs from ISO images. ISO image is nothing but a RAW format of burned image. I will give you the instructions to burn using Nero.. Steps will be almost same in all ISO capable software. Open installed nero software from computer. You may locate it under Start Menu programs. Go to File Menu (Some times you will get a wizard where you can select the Image Burning option or burn ISO option) Navigate the extracted .ISO file we saved in the computer. follow the onscreen instructions. Insert the disc when ever Nero asked to insert Hope this helps. If you need any assistance. Please get back to me. I will be more than happy to assist you. Thanks for understanding.
