I have an lg front load washer model # wm2277hw/01. The error code looks like an upside down FE. The manual doesn't show a possible cause but to unplug machine and call for service. Any ideas on what the...

I think the only way forward is to call for a quote as theses days they always put a service program in the machine circuity to enable them to warrant a service from them alone as we mortals have to pay for it, or the display unit is giving the wrong information it could have become faulty normally only the Russians language is written backwards in places eric

No matter how much water is in the reservoir, the Add Water error message won't allow unit to work.

Hi take out the water tank and place a magnet where the float would sit. If the machine works, then the float is faulty or upside down. If it doesn't work then the sensor behind the magnet is faulty. Replace it. dazza

Cycle stops and the code FE appears and to refer to manual but I don't have one, can you help

IE: Water level (246) was not reached in 8 minutes
UE: Imbalance: Load too, small too large
OE: Drain problem took longer than 10 minutes to drain
FE: Overflow issue drain pump running to comp
PE: pressure sensor (sensor out)
dE: door error. open door. switch is out
LE (with a a slash in the
middle of L. Upside down F) Thermistor out
CE: Over amping Too much soap wrong soap
LE: hall sensor shorted/destroyed from sudslock
bE: Ball sensor loose connection/out of order
EE: eeprom out test mode only
PF: power failure momentary interuption of shocktricity

Must be some sediment in the water level pressure hose. Blow out the sediment, reconnect the hos, pump out the water and retry. This is an lg washer. You may only need to set or reset the water level frequency. I have service manuals and notes HERE

Trouble Code

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error FE is an overflow error which indicates that the water is overflowing i.e. the water level frequency is over 213. To start with you’ll need to check the water inlet valve assembly and replace if it has gone bad. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

Error code looks like an upside down FE

The upside down F is actually a lower case t. The fault code indicates a faulty thermistor.(temperature sensor) The first step in troubleshooting is to unplug the unit for 10 sec. plug in turn on and select rinse/spin mode and no spin option to drain the water. If this does not solve the problem you will be directed to a service company.

Upside down backwards fE comes on. We had a

The error code FE refers to the fact that water is overflowing ( normally means the inlet water valve is stuck open and continues to let in water beyond the expected and/or sensed level.. so the water pump turns on to drain it and keep the level down. This kind of problem would probably warrant a aservice call from a tech since the majority of troubleshooting would require diagnosing the failed component itself and is not something that I recommend you try. There are too many pieces of hardware that have a direct impact on how this works and I highly doubt you want to play the shotgun approach..try this to see if it fixes the problem and if not..try that...

Before calling for service.. try this..

remove or disconect ac power from the washer..let it sit unplugged for at least an hour..then try washing 1 towel at the lowest cold water setting to see if that works ..if it does..repeat the process using only hot water.. if that works... then try the same test using warm water.. ( this test may help determine if the water inlet valve .,.either hot or cold is leaking through it)...
If you still get the FE test..call for service..

BTW..if only one of the two tests fails.. ( Hot water only generates an FE error.. then chances are the hot water inlet solenoid valve assembly is either sticking open or the controls to that are commanding it to remain open.

Error Code "TEST"

Just had the same problem & found the following solution via the web :-
1. When tESt shows hold down both the ON/OFF Button & the START Button together & let the Test proceed holding the two buttons down for the entire test (Approx 3 Minutes ) .
Continue to hold the " buttons down until the word Done appears.
After which you should be able to proceed with the normal wash cycle

Error 99

Error 99 is an "unspecified" error. It can sometimes be due to poor communication between the lens and camera. Here are some things to try:

1) Turn the camera off. Remove the memory card. Remove the lens. Replace the lens. Turn the camera on. Replace the memory card.

2) If that doesn't fix the problem, try cleaning the contacts on the lens and camera. Turn the camera off and remove the lens. Hold the lens upside down (contacts down) and gently rub the contacts with a clean pencil eraser. Be very careful to ensure that the eraser debris falls on the table and not into the lens. Repeat with the camera body, also holding it upside down (contacts down) as you clean. Replace the lens.

If neither of these work, then you need to send the camera in to Canon for repair.
