How do i enable the bluetooth function on my acer aspire 5102wlmi notebook?

Activate the Bluetooth features of your Acer Aspire to unlock your laptop's wireless function. Bluetooth technology allows your computer to control and share data with external devices without having to use a connection cable or download drivers.
In order to establish the connection with other enabled devices, you must first enable the Bluetooth antenna so other devices can locate your computer.

Press the "Bluetooth" button found just above the keyboard.
The LED above the button should illuminate.
Click "Start," "Control Panel" and "Add a Device."
Your Acer scans for other Bluetooth devices in the area.
Click the name of the device in the window that appears, and click "Next" to establish a connection with the external device.

How long have you owned the notebook? This sounds hardware related. If so then the touch pad would have to be replaced.

Sadly, the Acer Aspire 5100 notebook computer only has an 'optional' bluetooth module. However, a bluetooth usb adapter can be installed to add bluetooth functionality. Here is a link to the Acer Aspire 5100 specifications web page. kindly u have to switch this vga output on there is toggle button

press Fn along with it press F5 button clearly marked with two monitors black and white this will enable the second output

and one more trick on the right side in the taskbar in the intel graphics accelerator icon right click and select dual display mode there as well if u have ati it is the same case see there in the task bar
